/Applications, /Library, /System, and /Users.

Apple has two internal optical drives for burning media, a SuperDrive and a Combo drive. The Combo drive can be used for burning CDs or reading DVDs. The SuperDrive can be used for reading or burning DVDs or CDs. There are various third-party CD and DVD burners on the market, although you should check their compatibility before purchasing. For example, some third-party DVD burners may work with Disk Utility or DVD Studio Pro, but not iDVD.
