A computer that provides a network service (a web server is an HTTP host), or more broadly, any computer with a host name and IP address.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)

A set of symbols or codes inserted in a file to control display in a web browser. The markup tells the web browser how to display a web page's words and images for the user.

HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)

A networking protocol used to transfer information to web browsers and WebDAV clients.
